Nice, it looks like they modified it since i tried this, mine displays in the same line as ID "Solt : 2" (note the typo) and i think it said always 2 no matter what the slot was.

I am encountering an issue where the COM port is only detected when the H3 is in the ON status. When I turn off the H3 to flash it and then turn it back on while pressing the PTT button, the COM port is not detected, leading to an error in the flashing software. COM port only detected if H3 is on. How can I resolve this issue?

ICYMI. You can no longer use the blf and sub commands when setting up speed dial. The correct format is. fnc=sd;ext=301@$PROXY;nme=Public 1. There is a pdf on ham shack hotline explaining this. IP addresses using blf and sub are getting band. You might want to indicate that this is outdated information and refer to the PDF on the ham shack hotline website.

I have both too. Sadly I think the Yaesu was not well thought out; Great graphics and display, but no CW? no Digital?? So I can only use it for SSB? Icom is straight-forward including CW (which is most of my operating). Also the Yaesu takes away the USB port so I can no longer control HRD or my amp! That is huge!

I love my g90 i also have a yaesu ft891 and i find the 891 sits and the g90 gets lots of use tome it just proves that there is little difference in 20 watts compared to 100.. enjoy your videos.. Keep up the good work.. i want a GSOC it would make it easier on my old eyes 😊

I only use my anytone for commercial dmr I've edited many channels in my snuthinr do got local cctv, security, airfield ops etc and analogue as well, I'm not an amateur and only listen to commercial pmr systems

This was originally sold as a TY MD-380. The only weakness is there are no larger batteries available. It is a GOOD RADIO.

Por mi parte ha sido COMPLETAMENTE IMPOSIBLE de configurar en dos ordenadores distintos... un montón de problemas con el COM, con las librerías DLL y con el JTDX y WSJT-X.... Ya lo tengo preparado para su devolución y reembolso... Seguiré haciendo FT-8 con mi Icom IC-7300 que funciona de maravilla! Una pena! Cuando hagan algo MAS FACIL DE CONFIGURAR y que sea PLUG&PLAY de verdad, lo compraré. Menuda BASURA! 73s

I have an RT3S but have not been able to get a hotspot to work. Ordered and returned 2 of them couldn't get either one to work. For now I use my DMR radios in analog. Great video Andreas thanks.
